So if you just happened to stumble across my blog and you’re wondering “Who IS this guy and what’s wrong with him?” I figured I’d tell ya. My name is David Jones. I’m 23 years old. I currently work as an Associate Editor at Randall House in Nashville, Tennessee. I mainly work with Teen Curriculum. I’m originally from St. Louis, Missouri.
(Now the good stuff) I love dissecting pop culture with a Christian worldview in mind.
I am a huge St. Louis Cardinals and UNC Tar Heels fan. If you bash them, I will take it personal. I love eating Sour Starburst Jellybeans but it also makes me sad that you can only buy them in the Spring. I could drink Cherry Coke Zero all day (and I probably would if I wasn’t worried about kidney stones in 20 years!).
I love playing bass guitar, especially with friends. I’m in a little-known band called Surprised By Joy (so little-known that most of our parents don’t even know we have a band name).
I try to make blog posts comical and LOL funny. However, if you met me in person you probably wouldn’t believe that until you got to know me.
I have a heart for teenagers and youth ministry.
I pick at my fingernails when I get nervous or impatient.
Yes, I do own a Wii.
