Jay Bilas is a moron, stupid Dukie. I dont see any problem with the way the system works now. If the system were changed then the great games I watched this weekend involving teams like Radford and Morehead State would have meant nothing.
Also, a new way of doing things would hurt the teams that have worked hard to get top seeds in the tournament because they would probably be playing better teams, and there is no way the NCAA would let its money programs (Duke, UNC, UK, Kansas, etc.) that usually end up with higher seeds have a greater chance of losing.
I know this is an incredibly long comment, but let me sum it up with this. The ACC tournamnet is a huge event for almost everyone living in the area. I remember watching the games during class in high school because everyone is obsessed with it. I think that changing the system would ruin the ACC tournament because the passion of the game would be removed. Teams would have nothing to play for so it would be pointless to even have a tournament.
