“Applebees isn’t gourmet.” That’s funny.

September Cafe at Indian Lake is gourmet (pronounced expensive) and it has macaroni and cheese. Believe me, a five year old wouldn’t eat it. They also have gourmet burgers oozing with Blue Cheese. And they are twelve dollars.

It demonstrates the pretentiousness of the patrons-sort of the “Emperor’s new clothes” situation. They were told this was a gourmet restaurant and so they raved over the food when asked if they liked it.

One wonders how many patrons were videoed to get the response they wanted.

i have seen burgers like the thick burger on a menu at a gourmet restaurant.
